Writer … and manager by accident.
Words have always been a big part of my life. Amongst my published work I have a novel, a collection of short stories, poems, a play, and a number of philosophical, historical and theatrical papers. Many other scribbles are awaiting publishing. For fifteen years I worked as a journalist, seven of which as editor to ‘It-Torca’, the leading newspaper in Maltese. Then I moved to Malta Enterprise, the Maltese Government agency for investment promotion and currently I work at Ministry for Education and Employment, as Director for Research, Lifelong Learning and Employability. For a number of years I did management consultancy part-time and taught philosophy to adults. Currently I am part-time lecturer at the Department for Youth and Community Studies at the University of Malta, where amongst other subjects I teach entrepreneurship for young people, a course that I designed. I get inspired by music and and am an occasional painter.
